Role Description
The “Techno Functional Lead: Credit Cards” will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business requirements within the credit card domain. The prospect will be responsible for driving the technical and functional aspects of credit card products and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for product engineering to align with business and technical requirements in a cloud-native ecosystem.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end product solutions for credit card products and services, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow and communication between different systems.
- Utilize technical knowledge to work with APIs and develop custom integration solutions.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage integrations with third-party systems and partners, ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to meet functional requirements, performance benchmarks, and security standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor product performance, conducting regular reviews and optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, operations, and customer support, to drive the successful delivery and support of credit card products and services.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
- 12+ years of proven experience in a similar role within the fintech or banking industry, with a focus on credit card systems and technology.
- Experience in cloud-native development and agile engineering practices.
- High levels of proficiency in Java-based software development.
- Strong technical knowledge in micro-services and APIs.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of credit card processing, payment protocols, payment networks, and industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS, PCI-SSS).
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving technical solution development initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in project management or relevant professional credentials (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
